Ben Ronke has been nominated for the AFL Goal of the Year for Round 8 for his sixth goal in his bag of seven on Friday night.

It was a remarkable night for Ronke as he stood up and became the first player in VFL/AFL history to record seven goals and a tackle in a match.

Ronke rips the ball clear, fakes his way out of a number of tackles before snapping truly at a vital part of the match.

Port Adelaide forward Steven Motlop and Adelaide forward Taylor Walker wil both being vying for the Round 8 award.
