Forward Tom Papley has been named in the 40-man All Australian squad released by the league on Tuesday.
Papley is the only Sydney Swans player to be named in the squad and will be vying to make the final 22-man team to be named on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old is trying to earn his first All-Australian honour after a career-best season in which he kicked 26 goals from 17 matches.
Recognised across the league as one of the best small forwards in the game, Papley provided strong pressure in the forward line and plenty of scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates during 2020.
He averaged 12 disposals, 3 marks and 1.5 goals per game.
