Round 15 v Brisbane Lions
A career-high six-goal haul from youngster Sam Reid, lifted the Swans to a 47-point victory over the Brisbane Lions at the SCG in round 15.
Reid doubled his previous best of three goals as the Swans recorded a fifth straight win and moved into first place on the AFL ladder.
After spending the previous fortnight in the reserves, Nick Malceski took full advantage of his late call-up for injured Swan Marty Mattner, finishing with 29 possessions.
After a slow start, conceding the first three goals and leading by just four points at the first change, the Swans gradually kicked into gear putting four goals on the scoreboard in the opening ten minutes of the third quarter to settle the outcome.
Adam Goodes continued to build his form following injury with 22 possessions and three goals.
