Sydney Swans players returned to Lakeside Oval at Moore Park today to start their 2021 pre-season training.

It was the official start date for the 2nd-5th year players but many senior players such as co-Captain Josh Kennedy attended the session and took part in some capacity.

Lance Franklin was also in attendance as he continues his program whilst George Hewett, who missed the majority of 2020 due to a back injury, was also on the track clocking up the kilometres.

In hot conditions, the young Swans kicked off pre-season with a 2km time trial. Robbie Fox came in at first place, looking impressive and he was followed by Matthew Ling, Ben Ronke and Dylan Stephens.

It was also the first chance for new Swan Tom Hickey to meet his new teammates as well as new coaches Don Pyke and Ben Matthews after they joined the Club in the off-season.

See some images from the session below.
