General Manager – Football, Dean Moore said the Club would seek to accommodate a trade for Mumford during the upcoming trade period.
Mumford has played 79 matches for the Swans since joining the Club from Geelong in 2010.
“We understand Shane’s desire to join GWS and we will seek to complete a deal during the upcoming trade period,” Moore said.
The Club will make further comment regarding Shane at the appropriate time during trade period, which commences next Monday.
