All 18 clubs will meet at Etihad Stadium on Monday morning as the 2016 Trade Period commences.
Meetings will take place among key figures from all clubs to kick off the exchange period that will run until Thursday, October 20.
Head of Football Tom Harley and List and Strategy Manager Kinnear Beatson will represent the Swans at Monday’s talks in Melbourne.
Beatson said he was not expecting to have a busy exchange period but would learn more from Monday’s meetings.
“That is when we will start to meet with clubs to get a feel for what is going on but we don’t anticipate that we will be bringing anyone in at this point in time,” Beatson said.
“I don’t think we will be taking anyone through the free agency period at this stage.”
“We haven’t concluded all of our meetings with player managers of players that are out of contract so we still have a bit of work to do in that space.”
With the Swans playing in the 2016 Grand Final negotiations are continuing with a number of player managers on some of the out of contract players.
