Hailing from the QBE Sydney Swans Academy 19-year-old Indhi Kirk was recognised for a stellar over-age season when he was picked up as a Category B Rookie in the 2023 AFL Draft. The son of Swans legend and former premiership player Brett Kirk made his VFL debut in Round 15 of the 2023 season. He was also part of the Allies team that won the U18 National Championships for the very first time. Kirk credited the Academy for his success in an interview with Sydney Swans Media. “They had a lot of trust and belief in me and spent a lot of hours before and after training, vision and extra skills,” Kirk said following his recruitment to the senior side. “The Academy has been huge for my development.”
