QBE Sydney Swans Academy product Caiden Cleary joined the senior side with pick 24 of the 2023 AFL Draft. His selection comes off the back of a strong season with the VFL side, playing six games in red and white, as well as representing the Allies U18 team who went on to win the National Championships for the first time. Cleary impressed early in the 2024 pre-season coming second place in the 2km time trial. He later made his debut in Round 15 where he joined the rare ‘first touch, first goal’ club. The 19-year-old went on to play five games and will be looking to earn further selection in 2025.
