Rebecca Privitelli, another GWS export, joined the Swans in 2022 with five seasons of AFLW experience to her name. Privitelli was drafted by Carlton in the 2016 AFL Women’s draft, making her debut for the Blues in Round 2 of the 2017 AFLW season. The 29-year-old forward played five games for Carlton before she was signed by the Giants, where she went on to play 23-games over four seasons. Following her move to the club she was named in the inaugural Swans leadership group and kicked the first ever Sydney Swans AFLW goal. Privitelli continued this form in 2023, kicking 15 goals from 11 games.
