The Sydney Swans have made one change to the side to face Melbourne at the MCG on Friday night with defender Lewis Melican replacing ruckman Hayden McLean.
Melican has not played at AFL level since Round 19 against Geelong.
The ruck load looks set to be left to tall forward Sam Reid and defender Aliir Aliir who have both shared the duties as back up ruckman throughout the season but have a big task against Melbourne ruckman Max Gawn.
