Sydney Swans defender Jake Lloyd has received the full 10 votes for the AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award following the side's Round 15 victory over St. Kilda.
Lloyd starred in Sydney's 51-point victory finishing with a game-high 39 disposals, 10 intercepts, 10 contested possessions, 3 tackles and 1 clearance in the victory.
While Lloyd claimed the full votes, six other Swans also polled votes from the coaches.
Midfielders Ollie Florent (27 disposals, 12 marks, 1 tackle, 1 goal) and Nick Blakey (31 disposals, 2 tackles, 8 contested possessions) each polled seven votes following their strong performances while Tom Papley (2 goals, 19 disposals 4 clearances), Paddy McCartin (13 disposals, 8 marks, 7 intercepts) polled two votes and Tom McCartin (15 disposals, 10 intercepts) and Dylan Stephens (23 disposals, 2 tackles, 3 clearances) polled one.
