The Swans have brought in four players for the cut-throat game against St Kilda at ANZ Stadium on Sunday.
Matt Spangher, Nick Malceski, Jesse White and Gary Rohan will all get an opportunity, while Brett Meredith and Luke Parker have joined Tadhg Kennelly and Lewis Roberts-Thomson (injured) as omissions from last week’s team that lost to Richmond.
Coach John Longmire said Jesse White would be used as a ruckman/forward to back-up Shane Mumford, while Malceski would come back in after a week in the reserves. “With Tadhg out we needed another defender so Mal will come in to help us there,’’ Longmire said.
Longmire says Rohan’s speed will be a welcome addition to the team, while Spangher will line up in the forward line and lend a helping hand to 19-year-old centre half forward, Sam Reid.
