The Sydney Swans have thrown their support behind Animal Welfare League NSW this Valentine’s Day, encouraging people to find love by adopting a pet.
Swans players Jeremy Laidler and Sam Reid, both dogs owners, were on hand at the SCG on Tuesday to welcome three dogs looking for new homes.
Bear, an 18-month-old Pomeranian x Spitz, Spot, a four-year-old Fox Terrier, and Bronson, an eight-year-old Pug x Beagle, lapped up cuddles and a walk around the ground.
Animal Welfare League NSW has lots of dogs, cats and other animals looking for someone to give them love. All cats and dogs have been behaviourally and medically assessed, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea and worm treated.
Animal Welfare League NSW is a registered charity that has been operating for more than 55 years, providing expert care to surrendered, neglected and abandoned companion animals across New South Wales.
You can view available animals for adoption at awlnsw.com.au/adopt or if you’re not ready to adopt you can make a donation via their website.
