Isaac was diagnosed with Burkitts Lymphoma two weeks before Christmas 2021. Our charity partner Redkite have been supporting Isaac and his family through his treatment.

After completing six months of intensive chemotherapy treatment and months in isolation due to contracting Covid he is now in remission and doing really well.

Isaac and his family are big fans of the Sydney Swans and Isaac Heeney had an influence over his parents choosing his name. Today he came to training and met our Isaac and his other favourite player Tom Papley.

Watch the moment in the video below.

Isaac will also run out with the team for Swans Red Day this Saturday at the SCG.

The Sydney Swans have been on Redkite’s team for 22 years, supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer through our annual Red Day.

The Sydney Swans and Redkite will come together once again this year to turn the SCG red for Red Day at the Round 19 match against the Adelaide Crows on Saturday, July 23.

Our club is dedicated to helping our members, fans and the community and we are asking our footy family to stand with us and show children with cancer we’re on their team as we look to raise $50,000 for Redkite.

Donate $20 or more for the chance to win return economy airfares to Europe thanks to our partner Qatar Airways! (Terms and conditions apply)*.

This Red Day, show kids with cancer you're on their team by donating HERE.
