Sydney Swans co-captain Callum Mills has maintained his lead in this year's Carey Bunton medal after scoring six votes in the Swans 17-point win over Fremantle at Optus Stadium in Perth.

Mills had another strong performance with 26 disposals and nine tackles in the Round 18 clash and moves to 55 votes for the season.

He holds an 11-vote lead over Adelaide and Broken Hills's Taylor Walker who claimed seven votes last week and now has 44 votes for the season.

Isaac Heeney claimed two votes while Errol Gulden claimed eight votes with both Swans players moving up the leaderboard.

Heeney's one goal also sees the forward move into fourth on the Mohr Medal leaderboard behind Geelong's Tom Hawkins, Port Adelaide's Todd Marshall and Walker.
