Sydney Swans forward Isaac Heeney has finished third in the Mohr Medal tally following the completion of the final game of the regular season in 2022.

Heeney kicked two goals in the Swans 14-point victory over St Kilda in Round 23, but it wasn't enough for him to jump first placed Tom Hawkins (59 goals) and Adelaide's Taylor Walker (47 goals) who finished in second place.

Heeney's goal tally after the regular season was 46 goals from his 22 games.

The Mohr Medal is awarded to the leading NSW goal scorer in AFL home and away season. Wilbur (Bill) Mohr was recruited from Wagga Tigers and played for St Kilda between 1929-41. He played 195 games and kicked 735 goals (second only to Tony Lockett).

Hawkins claimed the Mohr Medal after a four goal haul in Round 23. It is the fourth occasion that Hawkins has won the Mohr Medal.
