@sydneyswans #askaswan Jude there was a time in 2007 when your future at the Swans was in question. What motivation did this serve for you?

@dnarmstrong - Dirk Armstrong via Twitter
#askaswan @Jude_Bolton does ur family have trouble watching you play? Ur often head-first attack shows utter disregard for ur own safety!

@Bigshep1980 - Mark Shepherd via Twitter
@Jude_bolton, Any idea why the team seems so flat yesterday? even you didn't play like your normal bone crushing self! #askaswan

Has the team lost a lot of confidence in recent weeks?

Andrew Watton via Facebook
In our 19 games thus far this season, we have only kicked more goals than behinds in 5 of them.... our kicking efficiency is ranked 16th... is this just a skill we're lacking? or are we trying to play the wrong way?

Hey Jude how do you feel and think the new Sydney side GWS will affect the swans in general and do you think the AFL got it right sending in another side from Sydney? your a TRUE BLOOD

Matty P
Gday Jude, Congrats on having one of your best seasons on the field. Being a loyal and passionate supporter after Sundays match against the tigers, I cant help but feel frustrated and disapointed to see the bloods playing a brand of football that is not in the Sydney Swans DNA. With a finals appearance now in limbo, how can the swans get back on track playing the type of football and displaying that red n white fighting spirit we saw at the start of the season? Good luck against the Saints, n go the Bloods!!

Hi Jude. Is this game against ST Kilda up there with the most crucial and important games that you have ever played in? And even more do we need to make a statement and play really strong and put in 100% effort, seeing that how we played against Richmond was quite effortless and the media and such are writing us off? The swannies I know always bounce back really hard. Good luck against stkilda.

Hi Jude, Congrats on your impending fatherhood - that'll be a big change in your life. Like my little grandd
aughter, I hope yours will be a little swannie for ever. With the changing of the guard and new game plan, it is obvious that we will have our ups and downs. We seem to expect too much from people such as yourself and Goodsie in particular. How do you see the next couple of years developing and who do you see as the kids most likely to take up those all important leadership rolls?

David
Dear Jude, After every bad loss this season (there have been a few), we hear about "kicks up the back side", "4 quarter football", "effort", "hardness" - have you guys got short memories?  David

Gemma
Hey Jude, question off footy. Whats your hidden talent?

Megan
Hi Jude. Who is the most annoying around the club and do any of the boys have any pre-match superstitions?

wade_swans4life
hi jude,

q: do you think bevo will get a crack at the saints, as i think he is the sort of player we're missing at the moment,

good luck for upcoming games and finals!!!!!!!!

Hi Jude,Your consistency and durability across your career is an absolute credit to the way you get the best of yourself and your body. What do you do to recover&prepare each week and is there specific training tailored for yourself and our older brigade during the week? Also I asked John this same question last week but wasn't used.. I'm wondering where Dan Currie is at with his foot injury as he was listed as indefinite in last weeks injury list, but how close was he to making his debut as from what I read he was consistently dominating at reserves level for two months to the point where it looked like he would've got the nod against the Gold Coast if it wasn't for his foot injury?

Di
Jude, congratulations to you and Lynette, now that you are becoming a dad, what message or words of wisdom would you give young children interested in a career as a professional athlete?

Swanny9
Hey Jude, Which of the younger swans should we look out for in the future?

derektheswansguy
Hi Jude, loved watching you work over the years.
Going back to the 2005 GF; the helmet you wore, was it really soaked with Kirky's blood from the week before as mentioned in the commentary?

GO BLOODS
Hi Jude, was wondering what is your most memorable goal from your time at the swans and why?

All the best!

P.S. (to you & all the swans) Keep your heads held high and keep fighting because you are all talented players and a great side. There have been some hard losses this year but use them to your advantage and learn from them to improve in other games. Never give up that "blood" attitude - continue to believe in yourself and each other!! Good luck for the rest of the season.

Sam
G'day Jude
I was at the game against Richmond, and I was sitting right next to the Swans race. After Half time as you blokes where coming down, I heard you yelling 'MUST LIFT' I felt really confident knowing that you and the boys where going to have a crack in the 2nd half. What went wrong?

Thanks mate, Sam

Hey you have been with the team for a long time now and the team we got at the moment have a lot of young men to develop how long do you think it will take to win another premiership or even just a true contender right up there with the top 4?

Michelle
Hi Jude,

Wondering whether you will be finishing your career with the Swans?

Michelle

Sam
Hey Jude

Alot of people have been saying Luke Parker is a younger version of you. He's Strong, Hard at the ball, Gets alot of the ball, A good tackler and knows where the goals are, what are your thoughts on that?

Flolawford54
Jude, Why is it that Sydney can step up and play good footy against the stronger teams but don't have the same commitment when they play a team like Richmond, who they should have clearly beaten. So disappointing from a Fans point of view.

Michele
Hi Jude,  Just wanting to know if you are back to full fitness after your injury

Tim
Jude, your a great guy and going to be a fantastic father. But please explain what happened yesterday against Richmond? As a loyal Swans supporter and was at the game, I left the ground 12mins before full time, as I was appalled what I was seeing from the guys.
What is the feeling in the club, with Longmire's strategy plan for the club moving forward?

John
Hey Jude
How do you train for tackling? Is there any reason you are especially good at it? What's the secret?

Rmitchell85
Can you explain what's gone wrong this season? Its been such a roller coaster ride for us supporters. Has coach John Longmire tried to change too much? It just doesn't seem to be the swans style football that we are all used to and LOVE!

Grey
Hi Jude, do you think the modern day Swans fan has been spoiled with the amount of finals series they've seen in recent times? I haven't stopped hearing and reading since yesterday's loss that that was the worst loss they've ever seen, but I seem to remember some from the early 90s that made yesterday llok like a victory.

Diannebrown2
What seems to be the key areas the swans need to improve in to make a real threat to the top 4 in the coming years and go for a premiership?

HNF
If the swans could get any player they liked from another team for 2012 to enhance your line up who would you pick?

Shikari221
What has wrong with the swans we seem to have fallen apart this year we do not tackle anymore and our skills are down I love the swans and it makes me sad to see them play this way.

What are the three things you tell the team after a unexpected loss, to help them regroup for next week?

Deano
Hey Jude,
Are you worried about getting brain injuries from all the heavy knocks to your head?

P B
Hi Jude,
I have been a supported since I was a kid with South Melbourne and watched Bobby Skilton training at the old ground. It's great that the Swans could win a premiership and get close to a successive one too. However, of late it has been a roller coaster ride supporting the team this season. Seems that there is not enough 100% effort by all at the same time. Is the season too long and does it take it's toll or was the team complacent with Richmond? I feel that our forward line is our main problem and we all can't just rely on Sam Reid as he is still a "kid". I was hoping Jesse White could be a focal point. Maybe someone like you could be his mentor as I believe he can still come through. What do you think?

Danny
Hey Jude
Hopefully we can turn our form around by beating the Saints
But who is the biggest Pest at the club ?
Thanks.

Disgusted Swan
Hey Jude, This is not meant to be personal and is aimed at the entire disgraceful group that represented (and I use the term loosely) the club yesterday.
I travelled to Melbourne on the weekend to watch that debacle against Richmond and was wondering if you lot were as embarrassed about your performance as we, your supporters were? Never have I been embarrassed by wearing my club jacket and scarf on the plane trip home until yesterday and I hope all of you were also.

Adam
Hi Jude, how frustrating is it to play in a team that obviously lacks the chemistry and psychological strength of the 2005-06 teams? We as supporters miss those days greatly because we knew we could beat anyone anywhere. What, in your opinion, were the most important ingredients in the success of those days, and how can they possibly be replicated in years to come?

Matt
Hi Jude. What do you think is the main thing we have to do to beat stkilda?

Sue B
Hi Jude.....congratulations on your impending fatherhood.  Yesterdays loss to Richmond was so detrimental to our finals campaign that I'm not sure we will even make the finals.  Do you agree that this week's game against St Kilda is by far our most important game in the latter half of the home and away games and how can we turn our fortunes around.
