Sydney Swans Sofia Hurley has polled votes from the coaches following Sydney’s Round Eight AFLW clash with Essendon at Ikon Park.

Hurley led the way in the red and white, as the Swans suffered a heartbreaking 4-point defeat, finishing with two goals, 12 disposals and a team high six tackles.

Pick five in the 2022 AFLW draft, the 18-year-old was one of three Swans to poll votes.

Paige Sheppard and Lexi Hamilton were also rewarded with one vote each.

Returning from illness, Sheppard was busy with 15 disposals, 10 kicks and four tackles. Hamilton had stints up front and in the ruck, finishing with 17 disposals, nine kicks, 6 hit outs and three tackles.
