As John Longmire, the Sydney Swans longest serving and 2012 Premiership coach steps aside from the senior coaching role, we take a look back at 'Longmire', a six-part mini-series that details his life and coaching career.

From growing up on his farm, to his playing days at North Melbourne, and ultimately his career at the Sydney Swans, we bring you a never-before-seen at the longest-serving coach in our club's proud history.

Episode 1: The Recruit

In the first episode, John returns home to his farm in Balldale during the 2022 pre-season. He takes us through life on the farm, how he developed his love for footy, and the extraordinary sacrifice he made as a teenager to leave home and pursue a career in the AFL.
