Head of Physiotherapy and Medical Services Damian Raper provided an update on the injury list ahead of Round 11 against Carlton, presented by Castlereagh Imaging.

Matt Roberts

Matt is progressing well in his recovery from a knee injury. He is increasing his range of movement and working on his strength in the gym. He is expected to come out of the brace next week and commence running drills.

Dane Rampe

Dane’s neck injury continues to improve. He has increased his strength work and is in full contact training.

Joel Amartey

Joel is progressing his running speed and volume of skills training. He will integrate to full training over the next two weeks and is expected to return after the bye.

Peter Ladhams

Peter sustained a significant lateral ligament injury to his ankle in the third quarter against North Melbourne. His recovery is in the early stages, but we expect him to miss a number of weeks.

Tom McCartin

Tom’s symptoms continue to improve, however he will not be available for selection this weekend against Carlton. The club will continue to take a conservative approach and ensure he is asymptomatic before he returns to play.

Marc Sheather

Further investigations have shown that Marc’s foot soreness experienced following the Fremantle game was due to bone stress in his navicular. As a result, he will spend a period of time in a boot to deload, with his return to play yet to be determined.

Callum Mills

Callum’s rehabilitation on his calf injury is going well. He has commenced introductory running drills and strength training.

Logan McDonald

Logan is expected to miss at least 8 weeks with a medial ankle sprain. He began rehabilitation this week but remains in a boot.
