The Sydney Swans have recruited Tom Papley with the club's first selection in the 2015 Rookie Draft.
Papley was taken with selection 14 after a strong season with Gippsland Power.
After starting the season as a midfielder he developed into a small forward booting 41 goals from 70 shots during the year.

Bio: A small forward who broke into the Casey Scorpions line up for three games mid-season where he booted three goals on debut. He played 15 games for Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup and kicked 33 goals for the season. Throughout the course of the year he booted 41 goals from 70 shots after starting the season as a midfielder. He is full of footy smarts and has good hands with a strong South Melbourne history. Both his grandfathers played for the Swans with Max winning the 1966 best and fairest.
The Club also used the rookie draft to re-select Harry Marsh after he was delisted at the end of the 2015 season.
