Paddy McCartin to sit out remainder of season
Sydney Swans defender Paddy McCartin will sit out the remainder of the 2023 AFL season as he continues to recover from ongoing concussion symptoms.
McCartin has been working with club medical staff and external specialists since suffering concussion in the club’s Round 4 match against Port Adelaide and while he has returned to light exercise, still suffers mild symptoms.
The club has transferred the key defender to the club’s inactive list as he continues to focus on his overall recovery.
