Luke Parker has continued his rich vein of form with the coaches voting him best on ground in Saturday’s 104-point win over Fremantle at the SCG.
Parker collected the full ten votes in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year Award for his complete performance both in the midfield and up forward.
The star onballer was instrumental in the Swans big win with 29 disposals, three goals and 14 score involvements.
Lance Franklin and Dan Hannebery could not be split with Ross Lyon and John Longmire handing the pair seven votes each.
Hannebery was dominant in a midfield masterclass finishing with 29 disposals, seven inside 50s, five tackles and six marks for the match.
Franklin came out firing in the first half and finished the contest with four goals and 24 possessions in one of the star forwards best games of the season.
Dane Rampe (four votes) and Isaac Heeney (two votes) rounded out a clean sweep for the Swans in the voting for Round 21.
With just two rounds remaining in the season the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award looks as though it is Dustin Martin’s to lose with the Richmond midfielder currently on 104 votes just ahead of Geelong star Patrick Dangerfield (94 votes).
