The Sydney Swans VFL side have been outclassed by the top of the table Brisbane Lions side, going down by 111-points at Brighton Homes Arena in Round 13 of the competition last weekend.
The home side were ruthless in the contest, building an early lead in the first quarter before extending their lead to beyond eight-goals at half time, despite the Swans kicking three majors in the second.
The Swans battled through the contest, however kicked just one goal in the second half while the home side ran riot to claim a dominant 21.16.142 to 4.7.31 victory.
Dylan Stephens led the way for the Swans to finish with 28 disposals, six clearances and four tackles.
After being dropped from the senior team, Ryan Clarke responded with a solid 25-disposal, six-clearance effort.
Lachlan McAndrew was completely dominant in the ruck, finishing with 47 hitouts, while Jaiden Magor was strong with a team-high seven marks to go with his 19 touches.
Corey Warner (20 disposals, four clearances) Hugo Hall-Kahan (12 touches, six tackles) and Will Gould (17 possessions, six marks) all toiled hard in the tough loss.
The Swans VFL side will head south to face Collingwood at the AIA Centre on Saturday, June 24 in Round 14 of the competition.
