John Longmire: “Going over there is a big challenge.”

John Longmire appeared in a press conference on Monday and discussed Round 19. The team will travel to Perth this week to clash with Fremantle at Optus Stadium.

“It’ll challenge us, and we need to make sure we respond to that,” the senior coach said.

“They have some very good players, on their home deck, and they’ll be fighting for everything.”

Longmire praised his side for their efforts last Thursday which saw the Swans come away with a narrow win.

"We’ve got to keep working on our consistency – it was terrific on the weekend; we were able to come back and get our nose in front when it mattered most and that’s a good sign."
