Are you ready to Step UP? Our Diversity Action Plan partner Down Syndrome NSW is holding its annual Step UP! event in the beautiful setting of The Domain Sydney next month.
This heart-warming and inclusive gathering brings together individuals, families, and communities to raise awareness and support for people with Down Syndrome. The event is held in celebration of Down Syndrome Awareness Month.
The Domain Sydney provides a picturesque backdrop for Step UP! Participants embark on a joyful 2km walk through the gardens, taking in the stunning scenery while surrounded by the love and support of their families, friends, and fellow participants.
After the walk participants can enjoy food, drinks, performances, kid’s activities, and market stalls with a special surprise visit from everyone’s favourite children's character and some celebrity friends.

Fun to be experienced on the day:
- Joyful 2km walk around the Royal Botanical Gardens, Sydney
- Warm up and cool down session run by WeFlex
- Surprise visit from every child's favourite character
- Performances and music throughout the day
- Cooking demonstration by Fuzz Ali - former My Kitchen Rules contestant
- Food and coffee stall including crepes, paella and Spanish sandwiches
- Children's sports and games by Leap Frog
- Craft activities run by Bunnings NSW/ACT
- Face painting
- Market stalls
