Sydney Swans v Melbourne
Sunday 19 June, 1.10pm
SCG

The Sydney Swans are back at the SCG today for the inaugural #RedDay clash with Melbourne.

REDKITE
The Swans are proud to celebrate their 15-year partnership with Redkite this year. Redkite is a charity that provides essential services to children and young people with cancer. Since 2001, Swans players including the likes of Brett Kirk, Rhyce Shaw and Harry Cunningham have supported families dealing with childhood cancer by participating in family days, visits to oncology wards and other Redkite events.

Before the main game kicks off, popular Australian celebrities will take part in a kicking challenge for Redkite, which will help raise awareness and much needed funds. Redkite families will form the guard of honour as the Swans run onto the field.

#RedDay
To mark the 15-year partnership with Redkite, Swans fans are encouraged to wear red for the inaugural #RedDay at the SCG today. Come dressed in red or collect a Redkite headband on Driver Avenue for a gold coin donation. Fans can also donate to Redkite via tin rattlers on their way into the ground or make a donation at www.redkite.org.au.

HEATH GRUNDY – 200 GAMES
Swans defender Heath Grundy is set to play his 200th match today. Recruited with pick 42 in the 2005 Rookie Draft from Norwood in South Australia, Grundy debuted in Round 16, 2006 and had a day to remember collecting 15 touches, 7 marks and 3.2 goals playing as a forward against Richmond. It has been in the backline, however, where Grundy has played out the majority of his career and emerged as a key pillar in the Swans’ back-six. Since 2009, Grundy has played 174 out of a possible 180 matches. He will become just the 31st originally rookie drafted player to have played 200 or more games.

TEAM
The Swans have made four changes to the team to take on Melbourne. Toby Nankervis, Dean Towers, Aliir Aliir and George Hewett come into the team for Kurt Tippett (hamstring), Jeremy Laidler (knee), Harry Marsh (hamstring) and Harry Cunningham (omitted).
