Ankle injuries to Sydney pair Aliir Aliir and Callum Sinclair aren't expected to be too serious.
Aliir did not reappear after quarter-time of Saturday's big JLT Community Series win over Brisbane, while Sinclair hobbled off in the third term after landing awkwardly in a marking contest.
Despite the mid-match setbacks, Swans coach John Longmire did not seem too fussed.
"[I'm] not sure how they are but they're walking around okay, so that's a good sign," Longmire said post-match.
"We didn't want to risk them to play this time of year.
"We'll have to wait until next week but the positive is they're walking around okay."
Sinclair thumped the ground with his fist after tweaking his ankle, but Longmire said it was the frustration of suffering similar injuries in the past.
He expects the ruckman to be fine.
They were minor glitches in a polished Swans display, putting a spirited young Lions team away in windy conditions.
Longmire was delighted with the play of youngsters Robbie Fox, Oli Florent and particularly draftee Ryley Stoddart.
"He's a first-year kid, takes the game on, has got plenty of run, kicks the ball a long way, he's a real dasher and that's why we recruited him to show a bit of that run and speed and it was a good start for him," he said of Stoddart.
For the Lions, it was an early lesson in how to use the ball well.
The young home team matched the hardened Swans in contested ball and won the clearances, but were rushed when entering the forward 50 and were made to pay.
Stand-in coach Murray Davis said despite quiet club debuts, the Lions were happy with No.1 draft pick Cam Rayner and Adelaide recruit Charlie Cameron.
"We were really happy with Cam," Davis said.
"He pressured the ball and he learned about the speed and tempo of the game.
"We felt Cam showed some glimpses of what he's capable of doing.
"I think across the board we were happy with the boys' effort.
"Charlie was in the category where we just didn't capitalise.
"He's still learning the cohesion of his teammates but we know a fit and firing Charlie Cameron gives us a few options.
"We just weren't able to create enough contests. We felt Sydney were able to run the ball out of their back half a little bit too easy."
