Prepare for a sunny afternoon on the hill and bring a picnic blanket or camping chair, sunscreen and plenty of red and white. 

Please note you CANNOT bring: 

  • Animals (other than a companion animal required for medical reasons as documented in a medical certificate provided by a trained medical specialist)
  • Bikes
  • Any external alcohol, glass, cans, firearms, weapons, fireworks or any other items deemed to be or which may be considered to be dangerous
  • Musical instruments or other similar devices
  • Photographic, video or audio recording equipment for any purpose other than private non-commercial purposes, which includes, without limitation, video and/or audio recorders, camera tripods, monopods or lenses with a total focal length of greater than 200mm or any other commercial digital video equipment;
  • Flag/banner poles or extendable flag/banner poles exceeding 1.6m in length or whose dimensions are in contravention of the Venue’s specific conditions of entry

It is strongly encouraged that attendees take public transport. If you have to drive, there is limited street parking around the area.

There are plenty of options for public transport to and from Henson Park including busses and trains.

Petersham, Marrickville and Sydenham train stations are a 15 - 20 minute walk to Henson Park. Several bus routes run through Marrickville with bus stops a short walk from Henson Park.
