General Overview from Round 7 v Hawthorn

The entire playing group came through relatively unscathed with no new injury concerns, outside of the normal post-match bumps and bruises.

Aimee Whelan sustained a head laceration, however, she is expected to be available for all training and our game against the Bulldogs this week.

Aliesha Newman – Concussion

Aliesha is progressing well through her graded return to play protocol. As per AFL concussion guidelines she will return to training with the group this week and is a test for availability this weekend.

Brooke Lochland – MCL

Brooke returned to training with the group last week and made a successful return to play through our match scrimmage on the weekend. She is expected to be available for selection against the Western Bulldogs.

Sarah Ford – Finger

Sarah had clearance to return to training last week with the playing group and also made a successful return to play through our match scrimmage on the weekend.

She is expected to be available for selection this weekend.

Kiara Beesley – Knee

Kiara has begun to integrate into modified skills with the playing group.

She will gradually progress to full team training over the coming weeks, and a return to play timeline will be assessed based on this progression.

Kate Reynolds – Foot

Kate is continuing with her return to running and going well. She will be assessed for return to play timeline as she progresses through her return to running program over the coming weeks.

Jennifer Higgins, Hayley Bullas, Maddy Collier - ACL

Jenny, Hayley and Maddy are continuing with their respective rehab programs and progressing well.
