Sydney Swans defender Ted Richards will miss Sunday's clash against West Coast in Perth after accepting a one match sanction from the match review panel.
Lewis Jetta also accepted a $1000 fine for rough conduct and will be free to play this weekend.
Richards accepted the one match ban by the match review panel for rough conduct against Sam Mitchell. The incident occurred during the opening quarter of Saturday night’s loss to Hawthorn at ANZ Stadium.The panel assessed the incident as careless conduct with medium impact to the head.
The offence was classified as a two-match sanction. The player has no applicable bad record. An early plea can reduce the penalty to a one-match sanction.

Luke Parker is challenging his $1000 fine for rough conduct agaisnt Grant Birchall during the second quarter.
The incident was assessed as careless conduct with low impact to the body. This offence was classified as a $1500 sanction. The player has no applicable bad record.
The tribunal will sit at 5pm on Tuesday night to determine the outcome of Parker's appeal.
