Nick Blakey and Brodie Grundy have topped the Round 6 coaches votes after a standout performance against the Gold Coast Suns. They're two of six players to feature this week, each coming away with nine votes.
Grundy, who played his 200th game on Sunday, celebrated in style with one of his best games in the red and white. The new recruit finished the match with 24 disposals, 29 hit outs and proved to be a formidable force in defence with 11 tackles.
Similarly, Nick Blakey was crucial to the Sydney Swans backline with 11 intercept possessions along with 24 disposals.
Isaac Heeney was consistent yet again and important to ball movement, earning six votes for his 28 disposals, six score involvements and one goal. It's his sixth week in-a-row to earn coaches votes and catapults him into award contention by 20 votes on the overall ladder.
Errol Gulden and Oliver Florent earned two votes each while Justin McInerney snatched one vote for his efforts in the midfield.
