Thank you to the 70,740 members who have joined us so far this season – together we’ve set a new membership record!
CEO Tom Harley announced that the club has surpassed 70,000 members for the first time in our 150-year history, with the announcement coming on our birthday, June 19.
The previous membership record was 65,332, which was achieved in 2023.
Attendances at the SCG have also reached new heights with the average Swans home crowd this season just shy of 40,000.
The incredible show of support follows strong performances from the Swans’ men’s team and comes on the back of the success of the club’s AFLW team, which played finals for the first time in 2023.
Sydney Swans Chief Executive Officer, Tom Harley, said the club is proud of how far it has come.
“Over our 150-year journey many incredible people have given their blood, sweat and passion to lead us to where we are today,” Harley said.
“Membership records don’t just happen – they’re the combination of hard work on field by our athletes, innovation off field from our staff, and commitment from our loyal supporters who understand footy is better as a member.

“I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our red and white family for helping us build a strong club that we can all be proud of – we have achieved this together.
“Importantly, we’re not finished yet. There is much to be excited about as we build towards our goal of 75,000 members, so I encourage Swans fans to get on board and be part of something special.”
A celebration was held at Sydney Swans HQ on Wednesday to mark occasion, with premiership players including Jude Bolton, Nick Smith, Ryan O'Keefe and Heath Grundy in attendance.
In celebration of our birthday, our partner White Bay Brewery have created a special 150th Anniversary Lager. To read more about this limited edition Lager, click here.
