Matty Roberts has earned two coaches for the first time this season after a career-best performance against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon. 

The young defender had a blinder on the SCG and finished the match with a team-high 36 disposals. He also finished the match with a career-high 26 kicks, 10 handballs and 10 intercept possessions. 

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a strong 2024 AFL season appearing in 16 matches for the Sydney Swans so far. He was selected with pick 34 of the 2021 AFL draft and went on to make his debut in Round 11 of the 2022 season.
