Fresh off a bye, the Sydney Swans will return to Tramway Oval for a match against the Collingwood Magpies this Friday afternoon. With just two games left of the regular season the team will be looking to finish the season strong.

VFL head coach Damian Truslove has named his side to take on the Pies in an exciting prelude to Friday night's blockbuster at the SCG.

A host of AFL listed players will return to the team while Joel Cochran, Ben Edwards and Jordan Endemann are also set to feature.

The VFL side come off the back of a bye and a win against the sixth-placed Southport Sharks. The Swans were triumphant in the Round 18 match, finishing 14.9.93 to Southport 10.8.68.

It no doubt injected confidence into the team after several close losses in recent weeks. Speaking to Sydney Swans Media following the match, Truslove said it was a well-rounded performance.

“I think the difference this week was a four-quarter performance," the head coach said.

“In previous games this year we've had lapses for half a quarter or a quarter but we managed to stick to the system and our gameplay for four quarters."

Just two weeks remain of the regular VFL season. The Swans will play on Friday from 2:05pm before one last match against Foostcray on Tramway Oval next Saturday.

Looking to fill your Friday afternoon ahead of the AFL? Head to Moore Park early and cheer on the team. The Locker Room by Swanshop at Sydney Swans HQ will be open all day while the Sydney Swans pre-game, presented by Jim Beam is set to kick off from 4:30pm.
