The Sydney Swans AFLW side to host Hawthorn at the SCG on Saturday, August 17 has been named, with AFLW senior coach Scott Gowans naming his side for the clash.

After a dominant 11-goal victory in last week’s Match Simulation, Gowans has named a strong line up that includes a mix of youth and experience.

In exciting news for Swans members and fans, new faces Lara Hausegger, Kiara Hillier, Giselle Davies and Sarah Grunden will feature in the line up with Hausegger, Hillier and Davies all featuring in last week’s match simulation.

Maddy Collier will return to the action after sidelined for the entire 2023 season with an ACL injury, while Hayley Bullas will play her second game of the pre-season.

The match will be the final pre-season fixture before the side kicks off their campaign later this month.
