Sydney Swans players Isaac Heeney, Errol Gulden, Nick Blakey and Chad Warner have been named in the 2024 All-Australian team after their stellar seasons in the red and white.
The star Sydney contingent have been key figures in the club's successful 2024 campaign - helping the Swans to their first Minor Premiership since 2016, and just the 10th in club history.
The All-Australian team has not featured more than four Swans players since 2016, which saw Dane Rampe, Lance Franklin, Luke Parker, Josh Kennedy and Dan Hannebery named.
Heeney, who made a permanent move to the midfield in 2024, has enjoyed arguably a career-best campaign alongside fellow midfielders Gulden and Warner.
"It's going to be great at the SCG - I'm very happy playing at the SCG. It's great for NSW footy to have two top-four teams battling it out.
The trio have combined for 45 goals while each averaging over 7.5 score involvements, and have each made their mark in countless red and white victories.
Their performances came to the fore in Round 22 when Gulden kick the match-winning goal in the fourth quarter, while Heeney and Warner combined for 28 disposals in the final term.
Gulden, the reigning Bob Skilton Medallist, is the first Swans player to earn back-to-back All-Australian jumpers since Lance Franklin (2016-18).
Meanwhile, Heeney has earned his second All-Australian blazer (2022) while Blakey and Warner feature for the first time in their careers - named in the 2023 and 2022 squads respectively.
"It's amazing. It's something that i never really thought that i would achieve - I envied these nights and to be here alongside some great defenders, who I look up to immensely, is truly special," Blakey said.
The 2024 All-Australian selection panel is Andrew Dillon (Chair), Eddie Betts, Jude Bolton, Nathan Buckley, Kane Cornes, Abbey Holmes, Glen Jakovich, Matthew Pavlich, Laura Kane and Josh Mahoney.
