Last year the GO Foundation celebrated 15 years of operation. GO is Adam Goodes and Michael O’Loughlin’s legacy and today they are very proud today to launch their latest Impact Report with stories and achievements from the past 12 months.
26 January is a significant day. For many, it is a day of survival, a day of mourning and a day of reflection. For GO, it is a time to shine a light on Indigenous strength, resilience and excellence.
1700 scholarships have been awarded since 2009. GO has achieved so much with the support of both the Sydney Swans Football Club and Swans supporters who give so generously to support students year in and year out, especially around the Swans annual Marn Grook match as part of the AFLs Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
GO’s latest Impact Report is more than a record of achievements - it’s a testament to Adam and Michael who have created a legacy of lasting change for First Nations students and young people & their communities. It's also a testament to the determination of students and the dedication of the wider GO Foundation's Indigenous-led Board and team, who are fostering meaningful connections and creating lasting change for young mob and their communities.
The report amplifies Indigenous voices, celebrates excellence and shares the inspiring stories of students pursuing their dreams.
