Defender Lewis Melican will return to the side after missing several weeks from a strained adductor sustained in Round 1 and Justin McInerney will add some pace and experience to the Swans side as he returns from suspension. Defender Aaron Francis also comes into the team after some good form in the VFL.

Tall Joel Amartey will come out of the side, after it was confirmed earlier in the week that he will miss 4-6 weeks with a hamstring injury with Angus Sheldrick and Pete Ladhams omitted for the Power fixture.

After three games on the road and 36 days away from their home deck, the Swans will return to the SCG on Sunday and the match will also give Swans members and fans the chance to show their appreciation for former Senior Coach John Longmire when he completes at lap of honour.

Sydney's opponent, Port Adelaide recorded a 30-point win over the Hawks at Gather Round and Swans Senior Coach Dean Cox said he was expecting a tough contest on Sunday afternoon.

"I'm expecting a really emotional encounter again, you know, I think that's the way they played last week," Cox said.

"They played some really good footy against the best team in the competition, so that's one thing we look at really closely, is the passion that they played with and the speed that they went through the corridor, it was by hand, they moved their magnets around a little bit, so we expect very similar."
