The Sydney Swans take on the GWS Giants in a practice match this Friday – and you can catch it LIVE on the Sydney Swans website.
The match will be Sydney’s first hit-out against an opposition team in 2019 and comes a week ahead of their opening match in the JLT Community Series – also against GWS at the same venue.
Fans are welcome to attend the match at Blacktown International Sportspark, which kicks off at 9:30am on Friday. Please note there will be limited amenities.
For those who can’t make it we have you covered, with the game to be streamed on both sydneyswans.com.au and the Sydney Swans mobile app from 9:30am.
Triple M’s Liam Flanagan will host the broadcast and be joined throughout the match by players and officials from both clubs for insights into how the pre-season has unfolded.
Isaac Heeney, Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker and Aliir Aliir will be unavailable for the match as they’re take part in the AFLX competition being held in Melbourne.
Please note this match has replaced Sydney’s previously planned intra-club match at Henson Park.
Sydney’s official pre-season campaign will get underway next Saturday, March 2 at 7:10pm when the Swans once again face the Giants at Blacktown International Sportspark. Entry to the match is free.
