The Sydney Swans will welcome back star duo Lance Franklin and Josh Kennedy for Friday night’s Marn Grook at the SCG clash with Collingwood.
The pair will return to the side after training strongly at the SCG on Wednesday evening.
Zak Jones (hamstring) and James Rowbottom (omitted) have made way for the two Swans after facing North Melbourne in Hobart last week.
Coach John Longmire said it was great to welcome back two key players in Franklin and Kennedy.
“Both Josh and Lance did all of training last night and got through the whole session and looked really good, which is fantastic,” Longmire said.
“We’ll have a look at how Lance fits back in to the team. We’re mindful that he’s been out for a few weeks and comes back into the team for the first team, and we’ll have a look at how things work around him.”
