Lance Franklin has been withdrawn from the side to face Greater Western Sydney in Sydney Derby XVII.

Franklin, who has a minor hamstring strain, has been replaced in the selected side by Ben Ronke for Saturday night’s match.

"Unfortunately Lance pulled up a little bit sore on Friday and we had it scanned and he has a slight hamstring strain," Head of Development and Coaching John Blakey told SwansTV.

"We are expecting he may miss one or two weeks, it is not a major hamstring tear so we are pleased that we will get him back pretty quickly."

Greater Western Sydney also have a late change for the match with co-captain Phil Davis also out of tonight’s match at the SCG and replaced by Matt Buntine.

More to come.
