Sydney Swans trio Harry Cunningham, Jackson Thurlow and Durak Tucker put smiles on the faces of kids at Randwick’s Sydney Children’s Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
The visit saw the three Swans deliver kids Swans caps and posters and sing them a number of songs, including Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Hot Potato, as part of a Redkite Musical Therapy session.
Sydney players regularly visit the hospital as part of a partnership between the Swans and Redkite that’s lasted 19 years. To learn more about Redkite services CLICK HERE.
Cunningham, a Redkite ambassador, says visiting the hospital is something he values a lot.
“It’s hugely important for me to be able to visit these kids at hospital,” Cunningham said.
“I feel very privileged and grateful to be in the position I am and to be able to give back. To be able to bring Jackson and Durak along with me today for their first time here as Swans players is very special. I love coming to the hospital and I really enjoy being able to give back.”
