Please see a transcript below of Monday night's live chat with Member Services Team Leader, Fern Anderson and participants on sydneyswans.com.au:

Fern Anderson:
Hi everyone, thank you for joining me for today’s member chat. If you’ve got a question about your seats, moving seats or your membership package, send it through! I’ll do my best to get through as many questions as I can over the next hour.

Question:
Have you guys set dates for family days?

Hi. Sydney's Fan Day will be on Sunday 9th March. Melbourne is currently being confirmed however the team down there will let members know as soon as possible.

I've ordered my membership, did it 6 weeks ago, Gold Premiership Club 11. Should I expect my members pack to be delivered sometime in January? & Also is it possible to put up a picture of the 2014 ISC Premiership Club scarf I have heard I am getting this year.

All our membership packs will be sent out in January. We don't have a picture as yet of our 2014 ISC Premiership Club scarf however if you send through your membership number (we won't publish that!), I'll take one tomorrow and email it to you.

Hi, why are we required to pay more for our seats to return to Bradman stand? We were in 2nd row of. Bradman stand & now we are likely to be at the very back. Not happy.

There are still Gold Reserved Seats in the Bradman Stand that are the same price as all other Gold Reserved Seats, for example Bays 3 - 5a on the concourse level. The back of level 4 behind our new Premium Gold seating will also be the same price. Have you had a look at moving to the concourse bays?

Hi Fern - we have renewed but want to change our ANZ seats and also to sit with some other friends / members. If I submit the seat change request with their names (not sure of numbers and they are o/s) what are the chances we can sit with them?

Hello. We do our best to accommodate all seat requests in January when we have the best idea of availability. If you do not know your friends membership numbers, we will attempt to locate them in our system based on their names however if it is 'John Smith', this is more difficult. You may wish to include a cover sheet with your seat request form with as much information about them as possible and the areas at ANZ you would be happy to sit.

Have you had reports of problems with the Ticketmaster site for existing membership renewals today? Don't know if it's a problem at my end, but the link to the Ticketmaster page was hanging this afternoon.

We have not heard of problems with Ticketmaster today; our renewals are still coming in thick and fast. Is it specifically logging in that was causing an issue or the process of renewing once logged in?

Hi Fern, is there somewhere online we can view a map of the new seating in the Bradman/Noble stands? Id like my seat to be near the bar!

The facilities in the new Grandstand are set to be really great; new Sports Bar, new Roof Top Terrace and new micro-brewery!

Is it too late to change our seats at ANZ?

Hi Harry. Not at all, simply fill out a seat request form and pop it back to Member Services -
http://membership.sydneyswans.com.au/downloads-brochures/item/seat-change-form

If you need any help, please give us a call on 1300 663 819. We will be back open at 10am tomorrow.

I’m a new member :-) full blooded GOLD VIC how do I find out what seats we have??

The Full Blooded Gold membership will give you access to the General Admission areas of the MCG, Etihad Stadium, the SCG and ANZ Stadium

Hi Fern, first time caller, long time listener - just wondering where the members after match functions will be held this year?

We have not confirmed our after match functions as yet but our events team are certainly working on locking those dates and locations in for us now. Member Services will make sure our members know the full events calendar as soon as possible.

How high is the new stand? My seats in front of Bradman don't seem to be same view. You told us we'd have 'like' seating.

In regards to the difference in height between some of the previous reserved seat options and the new reserved on Level 4, the front of this bay starts approximately at the mid-point of the top tier of the Victor Trumper stand. There is no doubt that Level 4 is higher than we had previously.

Can you access the facilities in the new stand if you are not seated in it?

The facilities in the new Grandstand will only be available to members seated in that area.

How many seats will there be in the premium gold seating area. I assume it’ll be popular. How far back exactly does it go?

Hello. As the new Grandstand is still under construction, the exact number of Premium Gold seats has not yet been confirmed. We do think this area will be really popular with our members but we will do our best to accommodate everyone who chooses this section.

What is the current Swans membership tally?

Hi. Memberships are doing really well at the moment, still working our way through our renewals however just for those of you who have decided to log on tonight, the aim is 20,000 members by this Friday. Fingers crossed, we can hit the target!

Wouldn't the concourse seats in the new stands be mostly out in the open ie not under cover whereas previously most were under cover?

85% of the new Grandstand is under cover although the roof has not been built yet so exactly how many seats in that concourse section will be covered is not definite. The rows at the very front will probably be open like the rest of the SCG concourse.

I'm in the same situation as David. We are going from the 6th row in Bradman to the 4th level in the new stand. I'd like to understand the reasoning for the red zone getting the 2nd level and why they aren't going up to the 4th level. Seems strange that loyal premium members are being put behind them.

All of level 2 has been classified by the SCG Trust as Members Reserve. This means it has to be unreserved seating which we refer to as the Red Zone area. There is also a Red Zone section on Level 4 in the MA Noble Stand. Although we understand Reserved Seat holders would like to access Level 2, the Level 4 seats are going to have a fantastic view of the newly extended playing surface.

Is it true if I nominate a mate I win a car?

YES IT IS!! Our Nominate Your Mate competition is bigger and better than ever this season. For every game access member that you successfully nominate, you will get one entry into the draw to win a Volkswagen Gold 90TSI. Start nominating now -

Hi Fern - we are Platinum members but currently sit in gold section at ANZ - BAY 102-1. At SCG we are in platinum area. Can we move into Platinum area at ANZ for same price?

Absolutely. If you hold a Platinum membership, you can choose Platinum seating at ANZ. Simply fill out the seat request form with your preferred bays -
http://membership.sydneyswans.com.au/downloads-brochures/item/seat-change-form

What will you do if the number of the previous occupants of the Bradman stand wanting to move back outstrips the number of seats available in the gold section of level 4 given that about half of those seats are premium gold?

That's a great question. The impending completion of the MA Noble, Bradman and Messenger Stands means we are very conscious of having the correct procedures in place to ensure a smooth transition for members wishing to relocate to the new stands. We are consistently monitoring the number of members who wish to move as well as the number of new members who have chosen these areas as their first preference.

The system we have in place to prioritise the movement of members who choose to do so will firstly be based on the location of previous seating prior to the redevelopment, followed by the length of membership tenure and finally on the date of seat change submission.

We are committed to contacting any member should it turn out we are unable to fulfil their first choice of seating so we can discuss suitable alternatives.

Swans sent me a renewal form which showed that I had a personal pin number. I would like to know what that is so that I can renew.

Hi. If your renewal form has your personal pin masked, it is because you have reset it. Member Services are happy to provide your password, if you could let us know your membership number (we will not be publishing that!), we will get in touch privately.

Is General Admission and Red Zone seating in the same area for next season like it was in 2013?

For 2014, the Red Zone is moving back to the MA Noble and Bradman stands are it was prior to the redevelopment. This also means we get our General Admission area back in the Victor Trumper concourse. We also have General Admission memberships back on sale for 2014, http://membership.sydneyswans.com.au/generaladmission

Will the Swans Cheer Squad be in the same position it was in 2013?

Hi, yes the Swans Cheer Squad are remaining in the Victor Trumper concourse as they were for season 2013 so they can cheer the boys from behind the goals!

Hi guys, I've renewed for 6 members and nominated 6 new members as well. I was also looking at getting our seats moved back to our old stand before the redevelopment, and I have posted in that form with the other two. How am I meant to know if all memberships have gone through as I was told it would go through last week I think. Thanks

All 12 memberships have been processed and your seat requests have been submitted through our system ready for when we allocate seats in January

Can Red Zone members sit in the Ladies Stand next season? Will they be entering the ground the same gate as this year?

Hello. The Lower Ladies stand will be returning for Red Zone members in 2014.

Given the Swans Cheer squad are staying in the Victor Trumper stand? Does that mean the away cheer squad is located in the new stand.

Hi. The away Cheer Squad will be in either Bays 1, 2 or 3 of the new Grandstand.

As a new interstate member (Tassie) I am not sure about the seating arrangements. I can only get to one game in July at the SCG. When and how do I go about getting my ticket and what sort of seat do I get allocated.

You will be given a ticket to the General Admission area at the SCG or ANZ Stadium and the MCG or Etihad Stadium. Information on how to receive your tickets and when these will be sent out, will be provided to our Interstate members nearer the time.

Another question? Are you sure yet of the procedures of the 'Entry into one Swans away match at the MCG in the AFL members reserve' that members with Priority 1 grand final access get or will we get sent an email closer to our games. I'm intending the Melbourne game, will be my first trip to the 'G. Is there a dress code in the reserve though and is it segregated from the rest of the stadium like SCG & Allianz stadium's members reserves are?

The Premiership Club benefits are so much better this year with our members getting to attend 12 games and our first ever offer of one match at the MCG as part of this. We have not confirmed all the details of this brand benefit yet but we will be keeping Premiership Club members informed as part of this season's updates from John Longmire so don't forget to check your emails every month!

Will there be a member room to meet after the game as their was in 2012 at the SCG?

We really hope this will come back for 2014 to host our after match functions, more information on this season's member events line up will be sent soon

Hi Fern, we have 5 seats all together, but my son is in the row behind us (he's a junior only 2 years old) In the previous year, we would just have him sit on our lap. To request just to change his seat only, with a specific seat number, how to I go about doing this. Thanks

Once you have renewed your memberships, you just need to complete and return a seat request form listing the 5 membership numbers within the group. The seat request form does ask for 3 preferences of seating at each stadium however if this does not apply, which it really wouldn't for you, simply fill out the comments section at the bottom so we are aware of what you would like - http://membership.sydneyswans.com.au/downloads-brochures/category/membership-forms

Hi Fern. What is the difference in cost between Gold and Premium Gold Seating? If I submitted a seat request can I get a seat on an aisle, close to an exit as I have issues getting up and down stairs. Thanks. You have answered many of my questions. Go Swans!

The difference is $75 for an adult. As just mentioned to Kris, you can fill out a seat request form without having to just select bays, you can add your own comments. I would suggest putting those notes in that section so we can allocate your seats appropriately.

I'm not interested in concourse seats, which has been a suggestion. I like an elevated view. Why are front rows of bradman now nose bleed in the new stand 4th level and even behind the new premium gold you've created. Really not happy.

We are really sorry that some of our members do not like the new Grandstand and I appreciate that you are not getting the exact same seat you left due to the way the new stand has been constructed.

We are not saying that anyone has to move seats so if you like a little elevation, you may wish to sit in the Victor Trumper stand instead. Our Member Services team are happy to discuss specific seats with our members to ensure that when you arrive on April 13, you are ultimately happy with your seating choice.

Going on from Louise's great question, how will your decision process work when we're a group of 14 where some members have been so for 15+ years and others in the group 5 years?

Based on the longevity of a group of members, it will be the average tenure of the entire group that wish to sit together that will be taken into account.

Hey everyone. Thanks so much for taking an hour out of your day to chat with me, that hour absolutely flew by!
