Elise's junior fan experience
Swans junior fan Elise Nolte won the opportunity to be the Swans junior mascot at this weekend’s home game against the Brisbane Lions.
Saturday night’s clash with the Brisbane Lions is certainly a game junior Swans fan Elise Nolte will never forget.
The nine-year-old from Leichardt won the chance to be the Swans junior mascot, after taking out the Volkswagen Fan Zone colouring competition.
Not only did Elise get to run out on field alongside the Swans team, she also got the chance to meet Gary Rohan before the match in the Volkswagen Fan Zone.
Elise got the star treatment and Gary interviewed her for SwansTV and sang with her in the Volkswagen Club Song Car.
Elise told SwansTV she was more excited about running out alongside her Swans heroes.
“I’m excited about meeting all the players,” she said.
Elise added that she was most excited about meeting her favourite player, Adam Goodes.
The junior mascot competition is not the only way Swans junior fans can get involved at Sydney home games.
There are a number of activities available for the club’s youngest fans at both ANZ Stadium and the SCG, including regular fixture the Volkswagen Fan Zone and the Volkswagen Club Song as well as a number of junior fan-friendly activities both inside and outside the ground each week.
