Star Sydney Swans forward Lance Franklin has stood out in the latest AFL Coaches’ Association’s Champion Player of the Year votes, polling a perfect ten after booting six goals in Saturday’s win over Collingwood.
The four-time Coleman Medallist also collected 17 touches, nine marks and six tackles to help the Swans to a two-point win at the SCG.
Defender Aliir Aliir gathered 24 disposals and 12 marks to earn five votes, while backman Dane Rampe reeled in 28 possessions and 11 marks to record one vote.
Collingwood’s Brodie Grundy (eight votes), Taylor Adams (five) and Tom Langdon (one) also produced impressive games.
