Sydney Swans defender Zak Jones has accepted a two-match ban for his bump on Essendon’s Kyle Langford.

Jones was charged with engaging in rough conduct against Langford in the fourth quarter of the Swans’ clash with the Bombers at Etihad Stadium last Friday night.

The incident was classified as careless conduct with high impact to the head.

Jones also accepted a $1500 sanction for misconduct against Zac Merrett in the first quarter of Friday night's match.

Jones will miss Sydney’s match with Collingwood at the SCG on Saturday night and a game against Melbourne at the MCG next week as a result of the suspension.
