Sydney forward Lance Franklin and defender Jake Lloyd have been named in Kane Cornes’ Round 1 Team of the Week.
Franklin collected eight goals, 21 disposals, nine marks and four tackles to lead the way in the Swans’ 29-point win over the Eagles.
Lloyd was another of the side’s best in recording a goal and 29 disposals.
Franklin was named on the half-forward line alongside Greater Western Sydney’s Toby Greene and St Kilda’s Jack Steven.
Meanwhile, Lloyd joined Adelaide’s Rory Laird and Hawthorn’s James Sicily in the last line of defence in the first Team of the Week selection of season 2018.
