It’s a frightening statistic: one woman each week dies at the hands of a current or former partner.

In Sydney Derby XIV the Sydney Swans and GWS are playing for the White Ribbon Cup, to raise awareness for the male-led campaign to end violence against women.

White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working to end men’s violence against women and girls, building respectful relationships and safer Australian Communities.

Help your mum, sister, daughter, friend, and all women you know by taking the White Ribbon Oath – it’s an easy first step to committing to end men’s violence against women.

The second step isn’t difficult either; when you take the oath you’ll receive the White Ribbon STOP Kit – a practical guide to help you learn how to actively make a difference in your community. You’ll find information on how to spot the signs, offer support and create change to prevent violence.

We all have a responsibility to the women in our lives. If you see violence, stand up, speak out, and act.

Together we can all raise awareness and end violence against women.
