Thurs-date night on The Swans Member Lounge
We asked our members to let us know why their special someone deserved treating to Thurs-date night footy and the response was overwhelming.
Lots of members gave wonderful reasons as to why Thursday night at the footy is the best date night there is in Sydney and four lucky couples will take a spot on The Swans Member Lounge for the game.
With plenty of surprises, comfy lounge seating and passes to our Chairman’s After Match function so their date night doesn’t have to end with the final siren, they are about to find out that there’s no better way to treat your partner.
Matt Wigg is treating his wife, Madeleine. They are newlyweds who haven’t had a chance to go away on honeymoon, although apparently she has a bit of a crush on Kurt Tippett – Matt is a very understanding husband!
Mary-Kate Jurcevic is taking her husband, Liam for their once in a blue moon (Thurs) date night. With 20 month old twins, they haven’t been out much recently but mum is locked in to babysit so they can support their Swans.
Erin Lawrence nominated her partner Alan for The Swans Member Lounge experience as this would be their version of the Shangri-La. They come to every home game from Newcastle to cheer cheer the red and the white at the top of their voices.
Corinna Edwards is celebrating her husband, Andrew as she loves his love of the team and the way he takes care of her. She warns her fellow couples that Andrew is a loud cheerer but with a baby on the way, he won’t be the loudest in their house for much longer!

To continue to show the love, we have more surprises up our sleeves for some more lucky couples who come along to the game on Thursday. It’s not too late to get your tickets organised and treat your partner to a truly exciting Thurs-date night at the footy.
Showing the love for our Nominate Your Mate recruiters
The annual Nominate Your Mate function will be held at tomorrow’s match, where we will celebrate all members who have recruited two or more new members this season. Members who have recruited at least five new members will also be treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Swans HQ and the SCG.

The Member Services team will be on hand at the Swans Service Offices (Gate A or E) on Thursday from 5pm should you need help or have any questions on match day. Member redemptions will also be available for collection here.
